Teresa Horn

Teresa joined Quality Financial Concepts in 1997, starting out performing administrative tasks, but she soon obtained her security and insurance licenses and began developing client relationships. Today, she continues to work alongside her husband, Doug, focusing on nurturing client relationships and communicating often-complex strategies in ways they can easily understand. Teresa also helps keep clients up to date on the performance of their accounts – a service that includes assisting them when they face new or unexpected financial needs.

In addition to her work at QFC, Teresa assists in the management of the Horns’ commercial real estate holdings. The couple’s interest in historic properties and small-downtown development is reflected in their ownership and restoration of several commercial buildings in downtown Maryvillle.

Prior to joining QFC in 1997, Teresa spent more than 15 years working in the fashion industry, taking her degree from the University of North Texas (graduating summa cum laude in business marketing and fashion design) and immersing herself in the business, from entry level to upper management. Her work included serving as a sales representative for multiple clothing lines as well as assisting in buying and design for two large manufacturers – Haggar and Williamson & Dickie.

After a brief stint managing her family’s specialty stores in the Southeast, Teresa moved back to Texas in 1996, where she met Doug and eventually joined the QFC team.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, antiques and working puzzles.
